My Story

Cara Berner, a South Florida native, is a voice actor with infectious energy, childlike wonder, and a passion for storytelling. Her journey into the world of acting began in high school when she landed her first role as a scare actor at a local haunted attraction. For the past eight years, she has worked with several haunted venues, captivating audiences with her ability to bring terror and excitement for all of those who walk through the haunts.

What fuels her love for acting? She finds fulfillment in telling compelling stories, making people smile or react in general, taking her audiences on thrilling journeys, forging lasting memories, and creating connections between her audience. Video games, too, have played a major influence throughout her life, shaping her love for immersive, dynamic narratives and providing a foundation for her creative expression.

While she initially studied life sciences at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), she chose to travel a road less taken: entertainment.

You can hear her voice in various projects, including her role as Tamba Ruiko in the audio drama Tetro Danganronpa: Pink, corporate voiceovers for Know It All, and ADR work for The Kitchen.
